To the Storyteller

Born as everyone else
Unsure where the heart dwells
Grows different from the others
odd one among colourless feathers

Tenaciously preserves memories
as chosen pearls for strings of stories
Deeper than many thoughts can find,
is the strong box of his mind

Observing the many a people
from the edge of his mind's steeple
Watching the whole world
as its confused notes twirled

Between the cries of births and deaths
dancing to rythem of beats and breaths
Lost is this seeker in his own search
of a world where ignored life lyrics lurch

Knowing the pasts
Measuring their costs
Facing storms by
fighting the norms

Exploring ideologies
Seeking the truth
Understanding hypocrisies
with a heartfelt empathy and ruth

Running away from society
With cherished memories gathered carefully
Finding solace in loneliness
At peace in the silent darkness

Sheltered in corners of wisdom
Creates his own imaginary kingdom
Unctioning the irritated soul
Even eeks out a living on a dole

pens down self on pages of history
Seen as an odd love child of mystery
Out-lives limitations earth born
Sews together the lives were torn

Reaches all places known on maps
Divided by people of flags or caps
into pained and longing minds
alike to men and women of all kinds

a lens to eyes impaired in confusions
a liberator from clutches of delusions
a strength to the tired one in defeat
an aegis to save innocent from deceit

music for them who can dance
aiding the oppressed to take a stance
a salvation for the vulnerable
making the fat rots answerable

As a guide for the rationale and the rational
Lives on the great storyteller forever Immortal

  1. It’s an Ode to Story Telller. It’s a tribute to Story Tellers of all the times and eras including the Future, too.
    Cheers.
