A walk in the rain
Relieves me off a lot of pain
Rainfall and me,
We have a deep connection
I've always found a great comfort
When I walk in, see or think of it
A walk in the rain
It calls out and reminds me of my self
Eagerly greets me tapping windows
A touch of seductive cool breeze follows
How long it has been since we had a talk?
Come on out, lets get a walk
Am not a fan of getting drenched so
A small or big umbrella with me should go
I step out into her magical fall
While into a dry shade everyone crawl
In the middle of rain
Is the perfect alone time
a fickle companion she is
I end up talking to me every time
Between the vulnerability of getting wet
And the safe warmth of self I feel alive
A uniquely chaotic silence of the sputtering
Gives mysterious peace and solace
Burdens I can cryout and happiness I share
She wont ever judge me, that I'am aware
So, I give up the umbrella once in a while
To indulge in her intimate hug
To say a poetic note,
For a talk with self,
To enjoy great music
Or just a silent nothingness
All one can enjoy with just
A walk in the rain
A romantic companion
A comforting friend
A knowledgeable mentor
My rain
